Year 5/6

On Friday 23^rd the children from Year 5/6 who will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation next term, began their Sacramental Preparation. The children were able to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Father Joe spent time with each child hearing their Confession. This was a valuable first stage for the Confirmation Candidates, as they continue their faith journey.

St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal 

Next term we will again support the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal.

This is a timely reminder so that in the holidays, if you are going through your cupboards, you may put aside any suitable winter clothing, scarves, hats, gloves, blankets that could be donated to the ‘Winter Appeal’.

There are so many people who are struggling to make ends meet and need help. Our contributions could mean so much to another person.

All donations will be welcomely received and can be bought to school for our School celebration in Week 2 Term 3.

Sacrament of Confirmation

Dear Families,

St Patrick’s Parish will begin preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation early in Term 3. This Sacrament will involve children from Years 5 and 6. If your child is eligible for this Sacrament please contact the Parish Office -Tumut@cg.org.au for a Registration Form as soon as possible. If you know of a family that may need this information please pass it on.

Preparation dates are as follows:

Week 2 of Term 3

Lesson 1 – Saturday 29^th July     3:45 pm – 4:50 pm - 5 pm for 

                  Commitment Mass

 Week 3 of Term 3

Lesson 2 - Tuesday 1^st August     3:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Saturday 5^th August No Lesson  –  however as part of the Sacramental Preparation, Candidates and Parents asked to attend Saturday - 5 pm Mass                 

Week 4 of Term 3

Lesson 3 - Tuesday 8^th August      3:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Lesson 4 – Saturday 12^th August    3:45 pm – 4:50 pm - 5 pm Mass

 Week 5 of Term 3

 Lesson 5 - Tuesday 15^th August      3:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Lesson 6 – Thursday 17^th August 9:15 am – 3:00 pm Preparation Day

*** Sacrament of Confirmation - 19^th August Saturday 5 pm***
