2021 Class Structures
As an Archdiocesan School we must comply with the System’s Enrolment Policy guidelines. Each year in Term 4, the Catholic Education Office provides us with a staffing allocation for St Patrick’s for the 2021 school year, and this will highlight the number of classes we have been allocated. The number of classes is determined by the overall school enrolment (not enrolments per grade level). In 2021, we have been allocated 4 classes. It is then the responsibility of the School Executive Team to determine the best class structure/s for the following new school year.
When we structure classes we take into account:
- Individual student need
- Classroom support requirements
- Class sizes
- New Program requirements and how they are best structured eg In 2021 InitiaLit in Years K/1/2
We are currently considering all factors and will inform parents once this decision has been made.
